It usually grows in tropical environments. Aside from the fact that it has amazing skin benefits, it can be used internally with the proper preparation.

It has strong anti-inflammatory effect, contains many vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other compounds like enzymes, amino acids, and phytochemicals.

Vitamins: A, C, E, B12, folic acid, choline.

Minerals: calcium, zinc, chromium, copper, magnesium, manganese, selenium.

Enzymes: bradykinase has anti-inflammatory properties.

Fatty acids: cholesterol, campesterol, β-sisosterol and lupeol. The last one has antiseptic and analgesic effects. All of them reduce inflammation.

Hormones: auxins and giberellins accelerate scar healing and decrease inflammation.

It also contains salicylic acid, which decreases sebum production and it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits.

Saponins, which are soap-like herbal compounds, have cleansing and antiseptic properties.

If you want to use it internally, make sure to remove the dark liquid from the side and wash it in water.

The dark yellow liquid contains strong laxative ingredients, from the anthraquinone family.

You can grow easily aloe plants on your windowsill.

The fresh aloe gel is the best to boost wound healing and to eliminate pimples.

Aloe mask:

Take a part of an aloe leaf, carve out the juice/gel and massage it into the affected area.
