Make your pancakes 5x healthier with this trick - Moringa protein pancake recipe

Everybody loves pancakes. I don't know a person who can resit them. Pancakes are a popular breakfast, they are quick to make, versatile, and delicious, however, they are not the healthiest in general.

As I'm a big believer in no restrictions, just transforming old recipes to be healthier, I will keep the same theme for my pancakes.

If you haven't heard about the magical plant of moringa, you should do a little research online. It's one of the most nutritious superfoods out there, high in calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, and a lot of other nutrients. Micronutrients are crucial for weight loss. They help you to control your appetite and also keep your body in peak condition.

By adding some extra protein you will ensure to maintaining and gain healthy muscle mass, which will increase your metabolism, so you will burn more calories while sleeping.

Ingredients:

Dry ingredients:

2 cups of all-purpose flour

2 scoops of protein powder (I used collagen for this one)

2 tsp of moringa powder

Pinch of baking soda

Pinch of salt

Wet ingredients:

1 ripe banana

3 tbsp coconut cream

2 cups of water

Instructions:

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Put the wet ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Slowly pour the wet ingredients on the dry ingredients while stirring carefully.

Keep mixing until the batter is lump-free.

If you want to make crepes you have to go for a thinner consistency, for pancakes, let it be a bit thicker.

Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Preheat a non-stick pan, add some oil, and when it's hot enough, add the pancake mixture.

Cook them on medium heat until the sides have golden-brown spots.

Serve them with jam, fruits, or adaptogenic chocolate cream (recipe is coming) :)

Enjoy!
